The Minister of Culture and Arts, Suria Mologi, accompanied by Albedo Alonzo Gro, the Cuban Minister of Culture, supervised the signing ceremony of an exchange program agreement between Algeria and Cuba.
The agreement, which was signed on the sidelines of the meeting of the Group of 77 and China, held on May 4-5, 2023 in Havana, the capital of the Republic of Cuba, translates the desire of the two parties to effectively embody the policy of the two countries aimed at making culture a major factor in bringing people together.
The agreement aims to give a strong impetus that allows expanding bilateral cooperation in the cultural field by intensifying cooperation between cultural institutions, and developing cooperation in the field of restoration and management of cultural heritage.
In addition to encouraging the movement of artists from the two countries, activating joint film production and supporting cultural industries, which are the main engine for integrating culture and heritage into the national economy.
