Sonatrach announces the date of the start of production in the “Tenhert” gas field in Illizi – Al-Houwar, Algeria

Sonatrach announced the completion of the start of production operations in the gas field of Tennerhart towards the units located in Ouhant, Illizi Province, at the end of November 2022, and production started gradually in July 2022.

This project includes the construction of a gathering network to connect 36 gas wells in the Tennerhart field, to the separation and compression facilities located in the adjacent Ohant field.

As a reminder, this development program was assigned in January 2019 to the National Corporation for Civil Engineering and Construction affiliated to Sonatrach with regard to the assembly and interconnection network, while Petrofac was assigned to complete the section related to separation and compression facilities.
