The Football Association announced that Gareth Southgate will continue as England coach until Euro 2024.
The England national team failed to pass the quarter-finals, defeating France, with two goals to one.
And press reports had confirmed that Southgate did not wish to continue his position as coach of the England national team, despite his contract with the FA until the end of 2024.
And the FA published a statement through its official spokesperson’s account on “Twitter”, saying, “We are pleased to confirm that Gareth Southgate will continue as coach of England and will lead us on our journey to Euro 2024.”
He added, “Gareth and Steve Holland (assistant coach) have always had our full support, and our plan for the Euros starts now.”
