Spanish media: The store downloaded 15,000 files and 1,000 photos from the phone of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez through the “Pegasus” program

The Spanish media returned to the scandal of Moroccan espionage on Spanish officials using the “Pegasus” system, which again pointed the finger at the warehouse, based on the download of 15,000 files and 1,000 photos from the phone of the Spanish prime minister, using the spyware program prepared by the company, “N. s. Or “Zionism” and used by the Moroccan authorities.

And the newspaper “Espanyol” revealed in a new report that it had been revealed that 15,000 files and 1,000 images had been downloaded from the phone of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez by the “Pegasus” spy program.

The Spanish newspaper suggested that Morocco was behind the hacking of Sanchez and his Defense Minister Margarita Robles’ phone with the “Pegasus” program, in May 2021, coinciding with the tense relations between Rabat and Madrid due to the latter receiving Sahrawi President Ibrahim Ghali for treatment from complications of the emerging corona virus.

On the other hand, Larazon newspaper revealed in its issue issued this Thursday that the date of hacking the phones of three ministers (defence, interior and agriculture) coincided with one of the largest migration crises known in the past decade, following the attempt of about 10,000 Moroccans to cross the border into Spanish territory in less than Two days ago, with the complicity of the Moroccan authorities.

According to the newspaper, although the penetration affected the Minister of Agriculture, Luis Planas, who has nothing to do with the immigration file, he was previously ambassador to Morocco, which made all eyes directed to the store, adds the same source.

Morocco was accused in the summer of 2021 of using the program designed by the company “N. s. or.” Zionism, after extensive investigations conducted by a panel of 17 international media outlets based on data obtained by Forbidden Stories and Amnesty International.

The European Parliament established the Pega Committee to investigate the use of Pegasus and other spyware in Europe.

And in November 2021, the United States government put in place the “N. s. or.” blacklisted for “engaging in activities contrary to national security or foreign policy interests.”
