The National Bureau of Meteorology warned, in a special bulletin, of a heat wave with degrees ranging between 38 and 44 degrees in the central states of the country, starting tomorrow, Sunday.
The alert, which was classified in the “orange” degree of alertness, pertains to the states of Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, and the south of Bejaia, where the temperature is expected to range between 38 and 40 degrees in the aforementioned states.
Temperatures ranging between 42 and 44 degrees are expected during the same period in the governorates of Chlef, Ain Defla, Blida and Tizi Ouzou, according to the same bulletin.
