The National Bureau of Meteorology warned of heavy thunderstorms today, Saturday, in 14 states.
The expected amount of rain ranges from 20 to 30 mm locally, starting from midday until three in the morning on Sunday.
The vigilance map, in an alert from the second level in orange, spoke of heavy rains in the states: Tsemselt, Tiaret, Laghouat, Saida, El-Beidh, Sidi Bel-Abbes, Naama, Bashar and Beni-Abbas.
In another alert, it indicated that thunderstorms fell in the states of: Algeria, Tipaza, Blida, Medea and Ain Defla.
