Starting to evaluate offers for organizing Hajj and determining the cost soon – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

This Sunday morning, I gave the signal to launch the work of the Committee for opening and evaluating the technical and financial offers of the multisectoral delegation in charge of preparing for the Hajj season 1444 AH / 2023 AD, which will determine the cost of Hajj for this season for Algerian pilgrims.

The National Office for Hajj and Umrah announced the launch of the work of the committee under the supervision of Ahmed Murad Marhoum, Consul General of Algeria, at the headquarters of the Consulate General in Jeddah, accompanied by Radwan Maash, Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments, and Ahmed Soleimani, Director General of the National Office for Hajj and Umrah, where he received the Consul General at the consulate headquarters. The members of the delegation, who were installed by Radwan Maash, Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, yesterday morning at the headquarters of the Office of Pilgrims Affairs in Jeddah, accompanied by Ahmed Soleimani, Director General of the National Office for Hajj and Umrah, and by the way, tasks were distributed to the technical committees and the work mechanisms used, and the controls that govern the work of the delegation preparatory.

Algerians will soon be able to learn about the cost of Hajj for the 2023 season, which rose significantly – 80 million centimes – during the last season following the Covid 19 pandemic, before President Abdelmadjid Tebboune decided to reduce the burden by subsidizing the ticket price to enable the winners of the lottery to perform Hajj . It is expected that 41,300 Algerians will perform Hajj this season, after it was decided to raise Algeria’s share of Hajj, as the winners of the 2019 and 2020 lottery will be able to perform the fifth pillar after Saudi Arabia lifted age restrictions.
