Within the framework of the modernization and digitization of its management, the State Committee of the Algerian Red Crescent in Jijel is preparing to launch the “beneficiary” electronic card.
It is scheduled that the local committees spread across the municipalities of Jijel Province will start counting the needy and low-income families. Starting from this week, according to a statement by the Algerian Red Crescent.
The source explained that the “beneficiary” electronic card that these families will benefit from allows them to withdraw monthly. From Al-Hilal stores in several areas, namely: food items, Al-Hilal Pharmacy, medical analyzes (with laboratories contracting with them), and the acquisition of clothes. In addition to free support lessons for teachers, free vocational training courses (in the field of sewing, barbering, sweets and various formations).
The statement also indicated that this card allows the exploitation of other benefits that will be developed later, according to the needs of families.
At the end of the statement, the state committee of the Algerian Red Crescent in Jijel called for the help of those in charge of social activity belonging to the local committees deployed in the municipalities of the state, to facilitate their mission to create a database that facilitates the task of counting them in order to take care of them.
