The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received today, Tuesday, at the ministry’s headquarters, Catherine MacGregor, the general manager of the ENGIE group.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the status of the existing relations between Sonatrach and Engie in the field of natural gas, as well as ways and prospects for enhancing cooperation between the two companies.
The two sides also discussed the current state of the international market for natural gas and its development, as well as commercial opportunities and future prospects for investment in the field of exporting green electricity, new and renewable energies, especially the development of hydrogen, the completion of power plants from solar energy, in addition to cooperation in the field of new technologies and training.
