The army stops a transnational criminal group in Tamanrasset – Al-Hiwar Algeria

As a result of the optimal exploitation of information, during this week, elements of a criminal group consisting of (08) criminals that were sowing terror in the region and terrorizing citizens with the use of weapons were neutralized.
During the same operation, (03) Kalashnikovs, an automatic pistol and a four-wheel drive vehicle were recovered.
The arrested criminals were brought before the Public Prosecutor at the Tamanrasset Court, where they were placed in temporary detention on charges of forming a criminal association, possession of weapons and ammunition without a license, and the felony of theft with the use of weapons.
This qualitative operation confirms once again the constant readiness of the People’s National Army units deployed throughout the national territory to protect the citizens and confront all attempts to harm the country’s security.
