The capital.. Signing a partnership agreement between the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Swiss “Roche” laboratories – Al-Hiwar, Algeria

Today, Tuesday, in Algiers, a partnership agreement was signed between the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Swiss “Roche” laboratories, with the aim of encouraging training and research between the two sides in this field.

This agreement was signed by the President of the University of Algiers 1, Fares Mokhtari, and the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Reda Cicek, on the Algerian side, and the Swiss Ambassador to Algeria, Pierre Aves Fuchs, and the General Director of “Roche” laboratories in Algeria, Dr. Khalil Kadari, on the Swiss side.

By the way, the President of the University of Algiers 1 explained that signing this agreement would benefit both parties by programming internships for students and opening space for research professors, expressing his hope that “a twinning agreement will be concluded in the future between Algeria and Switzerland to spread the benefit to all Algerian universities.”

In the same context, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy mentioned the agreements concluded during the past months between the Faculty and the various pharmaceutical laboratories located in Algeria, highlighting that the agreement with the Swiss “Roche” laboratories “will contribute to linking a strong relationship between the two parties and gives the Faculty the possibility of benefiting from internships and training in the two organizational fields.” and legal.”

For his part, the Swiss ambassador to Algeria appreciated the signing of this agreement, which will contribute – as he said – to “strengthening relations between the two countries,” referring to the “pioneering experience” of Switzerland in this field, which relies on “knowledge, applied research and the world of the institution.”

In his turn, the Director General of Roche laboratories in Algeria stressed the importance of this partnership, which aims to “enhance cooperation in the fields of training and innovative research, as well as enabling pharmacy students to benefit from internships during their academic path.”
