The Council of Ministers… The war to restore the dignity of the citizen has begun and will not stop – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The President of the Republic proves that the oath he took after his election as President of the Republic to restore and preserve the dignity of the citizen, and what he emphasized in his inaugural speech, is a war that has begun and will not stop.

Mr. President’s decision, in the cabinet meeting on Sunday, April 16, 2023, to raise the solidarity grant to 12 thousand dinars for those who receive 10 thousand dinars and to 7 thousand dinars for those who currently earn 3 thousand dinars, which will include nearly one million beneficiaries, is only an affirmation that the dignity of the citizen is preserved It is a program on its own, working relentlessly on its embodiment, fulfilling the pledges it made with the Algerian people and preserving the message of the righteous martyrs.

In all his speeches, the President of the Republic stresses that the war to restore the dignity of the citizen has begun with his accession to power and will not stop until he gets rid of, with firmness, determination and thanks to the loyal ones, all manifestations of injustice and manifestations that offend the homeland, as he emphasized in his speech during the opening of the judicial year 2022/23.

Preserving the dignity of citizens of all categories and protecting their purchasing power, the President places it, according to his message on the occasion of International Labor Day 2022, above all consideration and concern, in addition to preserving employment and social care positions, by allocating for them as much financial resources as possible, especially for the benefit of the middle class. And those with limited incomes and vulnerable groups, and this is a fact that cannot be hidden or denied.

The war to restore the dignity of the citizen has not ended since the President of the Republic arrived at the Mouradia Palace, and he is still waging it without stopping in order to provide reasons that also preserve the workers in particular and their children to live in peace and dignity by working to strengthen the status of this group that deserves special care This was confirmed by the President in his message to the Algerian workers on their International Day in 2021.

The war of dignity waged by the President of the Republic to rid the citizens of all bad appearances, began as soon as he won the people’s trust in fair and transparent elections, fulfilled his pledge and abolished the income tax for those with salaries equal to or less than 30 thousand dinars, affecting nearly two million workers, and then continued to raise The basic wage increased to 20 thousand dinars, and the introduction of an unemployment grant, whose value moved from 13 thousand to 15 thousand dinars, net of all fees, in addition to the state ensuring the burdens of health coverage for the unemployed during the period they benefit from the grant.

And the war continued to preserve the dignity of the citizen through the approval of the President of the Republic of amendments that affected the indicative grid for the salaries of employees, which began to be implemented in March 2022, as the salaries were increased over the years 2023 and 2024, so that their annual level ranged between 4,500 dinars to 8,500 dinars, according to ranks, and this This makes the increases approved during the three years 2022, 2023 and 2024 reach 47 percent.

Then, decisions flowed along the same track with a historic process, the first of its size in the history of the country, through the launch of the integration of 600 thousand Algerians into their positions in the public sectors, so that the date of December of the current year was set as the last date for closing this file.

The retirees also had their share when Mr. President decided to raise the minimum retirement grant in Algeria to 15,000 DZD for those who were earning less than 10,000 DZD and to 20,000 DZD for those who were earning 15,000 DZD, to be in line with the minimum wage, which in turn was known to increase from 18,000 DZD to 20,000 dinars since the year 2021.

On April 16, 2023, the Council of Ministers approved the amendment of the retirement law to adapt it to these exceptional increases in grants and pensions, as a commitment by the President to improve the standard of living for this group that has provided a lot to Algeria during the years of service.

The dignity of the citizen, which is sponsored by the President of the Republic, under his direct supervision, is therefore a war that has begun and will not stop. Its goal is for the Algerian citizen to be proud of his country, which does not accept submissiveness and walks with its head held high among the nations.
