The Director General of Air Algerie is among the leaders of travel and tourism in the Middle East – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

For the second year in a row, Forbes Middle East has unveiled its list of the “Most Powerful Travel and Tourism Leaders in the Middle East”, highlighting 100 of the most influential leaders in the region striving to make the region an attractive global tourism destination.

The list included Yassine Ben Slimane, President and General Manager of Air Algérie.

According to the Forbes list, the President, Director General of the Algerian Air Force, Yassine Ben Slimane, ranked 34th out of 100 personalities.

Yassine Ben Slimane assumed his current position in June 2022. The Air Algérie network includes more than 77 destinations, including 44 international destinations. The company achieved revenues of $394.1 million. It has 3 subsidiaries specializing in shipping, catering, and technical services.

Slimane held several positions before joining Air Algérie, including General Delegate of the French airline (Aigle Azur) and Commercial Director of Algiers Airport Services Department.
