The governor of the state of Tlemcen, Amomen Marmouri, stressed the strict and diligent follow-up of the progress of water resources projects and ensuring their readiness and entry into service as soon as possible.
In a working session devoted to following up on the progress of the works related to the development programs with all their sources related to the water resources sector, the governor stressed the work in full and tight coordination between the various departments related to the file of water resources.
And the governor gave strict instructions to expedite the connection operations and prepare the finished barges to put them into service as soon as possible, ordering, regarding agricultural irrigation, to use all available means for agricultural irrigation, and the necessity of completing the project of preparing the irrigation system from the source of Bukanun and putting into service projects Completion of hydro-agricultural development works for the vicinity of Maghnia and Tafna.
The governor insisted on handing over the project of linking the desalination systems of “Hanin” to the “Souk Thula” system, by the end of February, in addition to linking the various residential poles to the water supply system, improving the yield of potable water through 11 municipalities, and linking the northern regions of the wilaya to the desalination system.
Marmouri emphasized the necessity of accelerating the pace of work on all purification projects, especially the filtration system projects in the city of Al-Ramshi and Sabdo, which exceeded 70%, in addition to linking the various flows to the filtration centers to benefit from them as soon as possible.
