This summit comes in light of exceptional conditions and circumstances and many international variables, which impose themselves on the Arab and regional arenas, in light of the return of Damascus to the Arab League after an absence that extended for more than 10 years with the outbreak of the crisis in 2011, in addition to the recent Arab-Iranian rapprochement, along with the outbreak of Clashes in Sudan several weeks ago.

During the summit, Arab leaders will discuss the situation in Sudan, the need to reach a solution to the crisis as soon as possible, as well as the Libyan crisis, and stress the necessity of holding elections.
The Syrian file, the return of Syrian refugees and reconstruction in the country will also be discussed, while emphasizing at the same time the need to resolve the Yemeni crisis, along with an item that includes working to strengthen joint Arab action to protect Arab national security in its comprehensive concept and in all its dimensions, and to reject external interference in all its forms in affairs. interior of the Arab countries.
It is expected that the Arab leaders will also discuss the Lebanese political crisis, and the failure of the various parties to elect a president for the republic until now.
On the economic side, the focus will be on the Arab food security file and facing the economic and social challenges resulting from the Corona crisis and the Ukrainian crisis.
During the past two days, the Kingdom witnessed the influx of many kings and heads of Arab states to Jeddah to attend the activities of the Arab summit, along with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who arrived on Friday noon, on a French plane that took off from Poland, while the sources did not mention the capacity in which the Ukrainian president will attend the summit. .
This morning, Friday, Prime Minister Ayman Abdel-Rahman arrived in Jeddah to represent the President of the Republic, Abdel Majeed Tebboune, at the 32nd Arab Summit, for the meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States.
For reference, Algeria hosted the last summit of the League of Arab States in November 2022, after it was postponed for two years due to the Corona pandemic, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was absent from it at the time, for reasons described at the time as health.
