The Minister of Agriculture conveys the greetings of the President of the Republic to his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolas Maduro

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Hafeez Hani, said today, Friday, from Caracas, that he conveyed the “fraternal greetings” of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolas Maduro.

After being received by the President of the Republic of Venezuela, Mr. Hani stated: “I came to Venezuela, this brotherly and friendly country, to discuss means of cooperation in several important and strategic issues between the two countries. I thank President Maduro who received me, as I conveyed to him the fraternal greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdel Majid Tebboune.

Mr. Hani also expressed the aspiration of the two countries to “establish strategic relations at the highest levels, with the development of bilateral exchanges in all economic and trade fields, especially in the agricultural sector, especially in light of the problem of food security that concerns all countries today.”

It is noteworthy that this reception took place on the sidelines of Mr. Hani’s participation in the works of the fourth session of the Algerian-Venezuela intergovernmental committee for economic, commercial, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, which was held on June 8 and 9 in the capital, Caracas.
