The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohamed Abdel Hafeez Hani, held talks in Caracas with his Venezuelan counterpart, Wilmar Castro Sotildo, according to what was reported today, Friday, in a ministry statement.
The same source explained that the meeting between the two ministers, which was attended by executives from the two countries as well as the Algerian ambassador to Venezuela, came on the occasion of the holding of the fourth session of the Algerian-Venezuela intergovernmental committee for complex economic, commercial, scientific and technical cooperation on June 8 and 9.
During this meeting, “several issues and issues concerning the two countries were discussed, especially those related to the Algerian community in Venezuela, as well as facilitating investment for the Venezuelan side.”
By the way, Mr. Hani mentioned that Algeria, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic representations abroad, “accompanies and facilitates all investment procedures in order to reach the highest levels of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.”
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Agriculture was received by the President of the Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, accompanied by the Vice President of the Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas.
