The Ministry of National Education reveals the details of the “Sankyam” exam – the Algerian dialogue

The Ministry of National Education has contacted the directorates of education across the country to launch the preparation process for organizing the examination for evaluating the achievements of the primary education stage for the academic year 2022/2023, after canceling the end-of-primary education “sankyam” exam.

The correspondence mentioned the most important general principles on which the examination for evaluating the achievements of the primary education stage is based, the organizational procedures, which first include registration in the examination on a mandatory basis for every student practicing his studies in the fifth year of primary education, where the principal of the primary school undertakes the registration process on the digital platform, Starting from 05 to 23 February 2023 using the student’s school identification number.

As for the subjects concerned with the achievement assessment exam, they include written assessments, oral expression and communication assessment for languages, reading performance assessment for languages, and good memorization and recitation of the Noble Qur’an for Islamic education.

And the Ministry of National Education instructed the directorates of education across the country to coordinate with all stakeholders to hold organizational coordination and preparatory meetings and to launch awareness campaigns in coordination with parents’ associations for the success of this process.
