The Mufti of Jerusalem praises Algeria’s support for the Palestinian cause and its efforts in Arab reunification

On Friday in Algiers, the Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein, praised the support provided by the Algerian state to the Palestinian cause, noting its efforts in Arab reunification.

And the Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Homeland said in a statement to the press, after delivering a Friday prayer lesson in Zawia Al-Balqaidiyah in the municipality of Bir Al-Khadim (Algiers), in the presence of the Minister of Mujahideen and People with Rights, Eid Rabika, that “brotherly Algeria considers the Palestinian cause one of its priorities.”

And after he expressed his thanks and gratitude to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and to the government and the Algerian people for supporting this just cause, he affirmed that Algeria is “a title for the renaissance of the Arab and Islamic nation.”

And the Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories highlighted in the Friday lesson that commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba is “a duty to recall the reality that took place and to recall the positions, massacres and displacement that the Palestinian people were subjected to,” considering that this “painful” historical occasion is not only the memory of the Palestinians, but “the memory of all A free Arab and a Muslim who is jealous of his religion, his land, and his sanctities, as is the case of the Algerian people, who have noble and great stances.”

The same speaker also praised the characteristics of the Algerian people, who have proven them since the time of the glorious liberation revolution, especially “dignity and support for just causes.” He also praised Algeria’s efforts in Arab reunification and defense of the causes of the Arab and Islamic nation.

In turn, the Minister of the Mujahideen and People with Rights praised the “high and noble” meanings that were mentioned in the Friday lesson delivered by the Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories, reaffirming that “Algeria is a true incubator of the Palestinian cause” and that “the Palestinian cause is carried by every Algerian in his heart.”
