The Muslim World League welcomes the Saudi-American initiative to start talks between the Sudanese parties – the Algerian dialogue

The Muslim World League welcomed the start of preliminary talks between representatives of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, which are being hosted by the city of Jeddah, at the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America.
His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, expressed his hope that this initiative would contribute to a comprehensive and permanent cease-fire, in preparation for finding a final solution to this painful crisis afflicting Sudan and its dear people.
He praised the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its standing by the Sudanese people in this dangerous situation, and intensifying communication with the conflicting parties to reach a comprehensive and peaceful solution, evacuating nationals and delivering humanitarian aid.
