The National Assembly will participate tomorrow in the meetings of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The National Assembly will participate, next Friday and Saturday in Cairo, in the meetings of the Executive Committee, the two committees of the legal team, and the Arab Parliamentary Excellence Award organized by the Arab Parliamentary Union, according to what the parliament said, today, Thursday, in a statement.

And the National Assembly will be represented by the head of the parliamentary group for the presidential third of the National Assembly, Saed Arous, and this is commissioned by the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Salih Goujil, as indicated by the same source.

And the statement indicated that the agenda of the legal team committee includes “studying guiding laws related to the environment, intellectual property and cybercrimes, and members of the Arab Parliamentary Excellence Award Committee will also study the list of this honorary award, as well as the files of the candidates for it in its various parliamentary categories.”

As for the agenda of the Executive Committee meeting, it includes “studying several organizational axes, including the report of the Secretary-General of the Union and the activities of the General Secretariat of the Union since the last session of the Executive Committee, as well as the draft budget for the year 2023, in addition to approving the amendment of the Charter of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union and its internal system, and reviewing its work strategy in the period From 2023 to 2026,” according to the same source.
