The National People’s Assembly.. A meeting to evaluate the ongoing preparations to host the “Nidaa El Sahel” – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Munther Boden, Vice-President of the National People’s Assembly and a member of the High-level Advisory Committee on Combating Terrorism and Violent Extremism in Parliament at the Inter-Parliamentary Union, chaired today, Tuesday, a meeting that is part of the continuation and evaluation of preparations for organizing the second meeting of the “Nidaa Sahel” series of meetings, scheduled to be hosted by Algeria on the 26th and 27th. from this month.

This meeting took place in the presence of representatives of several ministries concerned with the preparations. The participants were briefed on the latest touches to make this important international date a success.

In addressing the speech, the Secretary-General gave the Council an overview of the logistical preparations being taken to ensure the smooth running of the works and meet the needs of the participating delegations at all levels. Representatives of the ministries also presented their proposals and ideas regarding what they intend to provide for the various departments affiliated with them.

These preparations fall within the framework of the embodiment of the image of the new Algeria led by Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, and in a way that renews the covenant with the great successes witnessed by the organization of the last Arab summit, as well as the 17th session of the Conference of the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
