The National Theater Muhyiddin Bachtarzi has organized a varied entertainment program for the holy month of Ramadan, including plays and concerts of Andalusian and popular music, in addition to literary and poetic meetings.
It is expected that during this period, which extends from March 27 to April 18, 2023, several performances of various kinds will be presented to a wide audience during the evenings of the month of Ramadan.
The opening will be with “Halqa”, a theatrical installation of excerpts from the plays of Abdelkader Alloula, produced by the Algerian National Theater and the Regional Theater in Oran, in honor of Abdelkader Alloula, an appreciation that will also be given to actresses Bahia Rachidi and Fadela Hashmawi during an evening dedicated to them organized by the Third Millennium Association.
The audience will enjoy the performances of “The Friends Department” by the Annaba Regional Theater, “Friends from Space” by the Mahfouz Taouharia Association for Dramatic Arts in Miliana, “The Bachelor” by the Regional Theater in Oran, “The Felucca” by the “Sarkat Al-Masrah” Association of Skikda, and the monologues of “Tayousha” and “Able to Tear It”. by Nisreen Belhaj, in addition to “Laughter Hour” by Zubair Belhar and “Come In, Miss” by Amri Kwan.
A program was also devoted to the young audience, as it will enjoy the show “The Mirror of the King” by the “Al-Badi” artistic group, “Longa” by the “Youth and Arts” cultural association, and “Al-Haqar, Nakkar and Al-Naya” by the “Port Said” association.
As for the musical evenings, the capital’s audience will be on a date with a group of famous artists from various genres of Andalusian, popular and Algerian variety, such as Chaou Abdelkader, Hassiba Amrouche, Leila Boursali, Abbas Rigi, Manal Gharbi, and a musical comedy led by the “Ahl al-Fan” association.
On the other hand, the literary and poetic meetings “Bashtarzi Councils” organized by Abdul Razzaq Boukba will touch on the topics of text writing and musical composition as theatrical elements in the fourth art, in addition to a dance show entitled “The Return after the Slap” of the Algerian National Theater with the participation of the “Bouzour” troupe for Algerian arts, theater and talents. young lady.
