The National Union of Journalists and Media Professionals appreciates the decision of the President of the Republic to create a media city – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The National Union of Algerian Journalists and Journalists appreciated the decision of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to create a media city, considering that such a decision “reflects a strong political will” to advance the communication and media sector in Algeria.
In a statement, the Union stated that the President of the Republic’s decision to create a media city and his assurances during the last cabinet that this city should be in line with the development taking place in the field of audiovisual globally, “reflects the existence of a strong political will to advance the communication and media sector in Algeria.”
He also stressed that this ambitious project is a qualitative addition to the efforts to build a new Algeria that bets on the establishment of a strong, professional and responsible media, considering that the new media city will be one of its most prominent pillars by providing a highly developed work environment that stimulates creativity, innovation and professionalism and reflects the true image. Algeria away from the systematic distortion practiced by many parties recently.
The federation also believes that this media city “will contribute to giving the organizational character to media work and ensuring keeping pace with the latest technologies while providing a huge number of job positions, especially for media and communication graduates, in addition to creating high competitiveness among media institutions, which will reflect positively on the quality of content and programs.”
