The Prime Minister, Ayman bin Abd al-Rahman, chaired today, Tuesday, a meeting of the government devoted to studying a draft executive decree related to the single national identification number and submitting offers related to the apparatus of the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship, the system for granting the Mujahideen and those with martyrs’ rights, as well as approving the contract in the field of sponsoring medical treatment.
At the outset of the meeting held at the Government Palace, the Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning presented a draft executive decree related to the single national identification number aimed at ensuring the goals set in the field of expanding the field of application of the unique national identification number and generalizing its use, which will allow the process of digitizing and simplifying administrative procedures to be further accelerated. .
Through this new mechanism, persons holding biometric documents for identity, movement or residency will be exempted from submitting documents that can be obtained through this number, thanks to the interconnection of information systems of various departments and institutions.
On the other hand, the government listened to a presentation on the system of granting the Mujahideen and those with rights of martyrs, presented by the Minister of Mujahideen and Those with Rights and the Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security.
This presentation made it possible to study the national system of social protection for the Mujahideen category and those with the rights of martyrs, especially the rights and privileges in the field of social security and retirement.
A progress report on the bank debts owed by the beneficiaries of the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship.
For his part, the Minister of Finance presented a progress report on the work of the multi-sectoral work force in charge of studying the bank debt file owed by the beneficiaries of the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship.
The presentation made it possible to provide an overview of the status of the agency, which is run by the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship, through performance indicators such as the percentage of collection and the ability of the guarantee fund to provide compensation.
Finally, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security made a presentation on approving contracting in the field of sponsoring medical treatment aimed at reactivating the course of contracting between social security funds and public health institutions that would allow for ensuring optimal care for patients and the efficacy of social security bodies.
This contract, which falls within the framework of embodying the commitments of the President of the Republic, also aims to improve the governance of health institutions in order to achieve better control over expenditures, and to allow tracking of treatment work.
