Today, Wednesday, the Prime Minister, Ayman bin Abdul Rahman, chaired a cabinet meeting, in which the ministers studied several points in the sectors of justice, youth and sports, transportation, and micro-enterprises, according to a statement by the Prime Ministry.
In the field of justice:
The government studied a draft law amending and supplementing Law No. 06-03 of February 20, 2006 regulating the profession of judicial bailiffs. It was submitted by the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals.
This draft text is dedicated to merging the profession of judicial bailiffs and the profession of auctioneers in the context of modernizing the justice sector and improving the quality and efficiency of the public service of justice.
It also aims to strengthen the supervision of this profession and correct some of the registered legal loopholes, as well as clarify and expand the tasks of the judicial record and enhance its protection.
In the field of youth and sports:
The government listened to a presentation by the Minister of Youth and Sports on the ongoing preparations for organizing the Arab Games in Algeria, from 5 to 15 July 2023.
In this regard, it is worth recalling that the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, which met in its 46th session on March 18, 2023, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, had unanimously agreed that Algeria would host the 2023 Arab Games.
After the great success of the Arab summit that was held in Algeria in November 2022, as well as the tight organization of the Mediterranean Games in Oran and the 2023 African Nations Cup for local football, Algeria is preparing for the second time after the 2004 session to embrace this Arab sporting event, which aims in particular to consolidate youth unity. Arab and strengthening friendship between Arab peoples devoting the principles of the Arab Olympic movement.
More than 3,500 athletes from 22 Arab countries are expected to participate in this tournament, who will compete in 21 sports disciplines, at the level of seven (7) states across the country, namely: Algiers, Annaba, Constantine, Oran, Tipaza, Blida, Tizi Ouzou. .
In order to make this Arab sporting event a success, all the necessary human and material means were harnessed and a special regulatory framework was put in place to ensure the compatibility and coordination of all sectors and actors on this occasion, especially since the date of these games coincides with the conclusion of the activities of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Independence Day, which began on July 5. 2022.
As for transportation:
The Minister of Transport made a presentation on the establishment of the National Agency for Civil Aviation.
As a reminder, this agency is charged with controlling, monitoring and supervising civil aviation activity.
Its establishment will also allow our country to rise to international standards and recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization in this field.
In addition, the Minister of Transport made a presentation related to the project of realizing the catering services center for Air Algérie.
The realization of the catering services center comes in order to meet the needs expressed and to ensure, at the same time, quality services, especially with the total resumption of flights of the national company Air Algérie compared to the period of Covid-19, and the launch of new airlines, both nationally and internationally.
In the field of micro-enterprises:
The Minister of Knowledge Economy, Emerging Enterprises and Small Enterprises gave a presentation on the new approach adopted for the small enterprise sector aimed at making the performance of assistive devices more efficient.
This new approach aims to enhance, especially through digitization, the transparency and good governance of these support services, as well as to develop new services in line with the needs of the exploitation of micro-enterprises.
This approach also includes strengthening the training of project holders in the field of entrepreneurship and the management of institutions, in order to accompany them optimally and upgrade their entrepreneurial capabilities.
In this context, the preparation of a national map for handling would allow for better guidance of investment projects towards activities that respond to local economic potential.
