The General Directorate of Communication of the Presidency of the Republic issued a statement disavowing what was issued by the officials of the University of “Batna 1”, and denouncing through it a “personal and isolated” initiative from them, represented in their honoring the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with a painting.
The Communication Directorate of the Presidency of the Republic considered that this act brings back to the minds of Algerians a disgraceful era, and described it as “bad behavior, which has nothing to do with the way of thinking of the President of the Republic, nor with the traditions that he has been working to consolidate since assuming the presidency of the Republic, within the framework of a new Algeria.”
And the statement, which was published on the website of the Presidency of the Republic, today, Monday, confirmed the vindication of this behavior, that the President of the Republic requested in the inauguration speech to withdraw the title of “excellence” and replace it with the description of “master”, and thus the fall of all actions and behavior of adulation.
