The President gives important directives to the health sector – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Regarding the health sector, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stressed that the main problem is not related to structuring, but rather to management, and that reform should continue throughout the year, and not during a specific period.

According to the presidential statement, the President made it clear today, Sunday, while chairing a meeting of ministers, that the general situation in the country had a negative impact on the health sector, but his situation calling for a radical review does not necessarily mean rebuilding it from scratch.

And he pointed to the need to motivate doctors and paramedics by creating the optimal professional and social atmosphere, so that they perform their tasks in complete psychological comfort, which helps in better performance of professional duty.

Tebboune ordered the necessity of vocational rehabilitation of paramedical agents, through training courses, with the aim of integrating them into the mechanism of administrative and professional promotions, in addition to reviewing the basic laws for all professional groups that make up the health sector.

And he stressed the promotion and modernization of hospital care and health services, according to a unified quality, and the creation of an internal work system for hospitals, which allows electronic follow-up of medical files through all paths of patient treatment, and to relieve pressure on doctors.

And the President pointed out the separation between administrative and medical management and the orientation towards specializing hospitals to create treatment poles that help relieve pressure on hospitals nationally.

He also ordered the strengthening of hospitals’ orientation towards specialization by concluding contracts with specialized international hospitals to perform surgical operations in Algeria, based on the number of incurable disease cases that require special care.
