The President of Nigeria receives Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, the personal envoy of the Sahrawi President – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Muhammadu Bukhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, received Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, Minister Counselor in charge of Diplomatic Affairs and Personal Envoy of the President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Front, Ibrahim Ghali, at the Presidential Palace in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.

The Minister, Counselor in charge of diplomatic affairs, delivered a written message from the Sahrawi President to his Nigerian counterpart, including developments in the national issue and developments in the Sahrawi-Moroccan conflict.

During the talks, the two sides reviewed the history of the distinguished bilateral relations that exist between the two peoples and the two countries, which are marked by solidarity, cooperation, and the defense of the lofty principles and goals upon which the Constitutive Act of the African Union was founded, which constitute the backbone of the United Nations Charter and the requirements of contemporary international law.

In addition to President Muhammadu Buhari, this meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Wenyama, Ahmed Al-Rifai, Director General of the National Information Agency, and directors of the Nigerian presidency.

The Minister was accompanied by the Counselor in charge of diplomatic affairs, Ibrahim Al-Salem Busayf, Ambassador of the Republic of Nigeria to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
