The Saudi “Delta Energy” is interested in investing in Algeria – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The President and General Manager of the Saudi “Delta Energy” complex, Badr Al-Aiban, expressed the great interest of the complex in investing in Algeria and identifying tangible projects, especially in the field of hydrocarbons, especially in light of the existence of an appropriate investment climate and the confidence that characterizes the relations that bind the two countries.

During his talks, today, Sunday, with the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, who was received by the accompanying delegation at the ministry’s headquarters, Al-Aiban affirmed the interest of the complex to invest in Algeria, as the two parties discussed business and investment opportunities between Sonatrach and “Delta Energy” in the field of hydrocarbons, from source to source. Downstream, through the establishment of promising investment projects for both sides in view of the existing historical and brotherly relations between Algeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially in the energy sector and mines.

The Minister of Energy and Mines stressed the importance of cooperation and partnership between Algerian and Saudi companies, and presented, by the way, the investment and partnership opportunities offered by the sector, especially in the field of hydrocarbon exploration, development and exploitation, especially within the framework of the new hydrocarbons law, which offers many advantages and facilities to investors.

The minister also referred, according to the ministry’s statement, to the possibilities of cooperation and great investment opportunities in the field of petrochemicals and all petroleum and gas transformational industries, as well as in the field of renewable energies and hydrogen development, and the importance of exchanging experiences and transferring knowledge between Sonatrach and Delta Energy, and the establishment of mutually beneficial partnerships in Algeria was highlighted. And outside Algeria, especially within the framework of Sonatrach’s strategy to break into the African market.
