The store hacked the page of the Arab Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People on “Facebook” – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The head of the Arab Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, Mahmoud Al-Saleh, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the hacking of the warehouse system of his organization’s page on social networking sites, which led to its closure, is a “cowardly” and “dirty” step.

Mahmoud Al-Saleh said that the Makhzen hacked and then closed the Facebook page of the Arab Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, in a step to say the least that it is “a cowardly and dirty step that indicates the extent of the terror and fear that this regime suffers from in terms of free stances and voices.”

Mr. Al-Saleh highlighted that although the page of the committee is still young and not more than four months old, its great influence on Arab and even foreign public opinion, through publications that were aimed in their entirety in defending the struggle of the people of Western Sahara and introducing their just cause, “I terrified Morocco, which realized the danger of this media outlet.”

And he explained that since the beginning of last December, “attempts by Moroccan flies to target the page, by sending insulting and cursing messages,” and although the committee’s technical team was able to preserve the page from disappearing to some extent, since last week, it has become more complicated. Things to be closed permanently.

After stressing that the battle of struggle with the Sahrawi people against the Moroccan regime is “long-term,” the spokesman stressed that the committee “has succeeded to a large extent in exerting pressure on this regime, through its influence on Arab and even European and Western public opinion, through issues and statements that are made. Eat it.”

In this regard, Mr. Al-Saleh mentioned the most important activities organized by the committee since last September, such as seminars and meetings with the participation of leading Arab thinkers, from all Arab countries such as Algeria, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Yemen and others.

He touched on the work plan of the Arab Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, which aims to attract more Arab political and intellectual figures.

He also noted the importance of coordinating with a number of international organizations to hold a series of meetings to explain the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and to get rid of the unjust and plundering Moroccan occupation since 1975.

Mr. Al-Saleh pointed out that his commission is preparing to participate in the 16th conference of the Polisario Front, which will be – as he said – “a new start for the Arab Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People in the international spectrum through interaction with various organisations,” pointing out that “there will be meetings with senior officials in International organizations, as well as organizations concerned with the humanitarian side.

He highlighted the importance of the committee joining the “international community to achieve greater effectiveness in accelerating the implementation of the international resolution on the decolonization of Western Sahara,” calling on “the countries of the world in general and the Arab countries in particular to stand by the right of this people.”

He pointed out that the committee “is in the process of preparing a very important solidarity program to explain the issue of Western Sahara and to clarify the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and to achieve their comprehensive independence.”
