The World Health Organization rejects the demands of the occupation and the United States to withdraw the Palestine item from the discussion – the Algerian dialogue

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the adoption by the General Assembly of the World Health Organization of the Palestine item on the agenda of its current 76th session, and its rejection of the demands of the Zionist entity and the United States to withdraw it from the discussion.

And the Ministry indicated, in a statement on Friday, commenting on the adoption by the General Assembly of the World Health Organization during its 76th session, of the resolution on the State of Palestine entitled “Health Conditions in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and the occupied Syrian Golan,” to “Palestinian diplomatic efforts, Especially through the mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations in Geneva.” In addition to the Palestinian missions in the world, “and through the efforts of the Ministry of Health to work with Member States, and with the Director General of the World Health Organization, and to negotiate this draft resolution to reach the overwhelming majority.”

By the way, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry expressed its thanks to all the countries that voted in favor of the resolution, calling on the countries that did not support the resolution to “review their policies and not double standards, because the State of Palestine will continue to defend its interests and the interests of the Palestinian people based on rights and constants that are consistent with the foundations of international law, in institutions and all international platforms.

In this regard, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed “the importance of this decision, which reflects the health conditions in Palestine in light of the Zionist entity’s continued systematic violations of the rights of the Palestinian people to access health services and (also stressed) the need for the international community to intervene to pressure the occupation to meet the just demands of the prisoners.” And consistent with the rules of the law and the lives of these heroes is everyone’s responsibility.
