The Director-General of the World Health Organization also thanked all workers in the health sector in all countries and all those involved in the path of blood donation, civil organizations and partners in the media sector, stressing that blood donation has become a major axis that requires action in order to ensure that everyone has access to safe blood transfusion services.
The Director-General of the World Health Organization concluded his speech during his participation in the activities celebrating the World Blood Donor Day via video conference technology, that the slogan of the World Blood Donor Day campaign for 2023 is “Donate blood, donate plasma, share life, share a lot.”
