These are study times during Ramadan – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of National Education announced the working hours in educational institutions during the month of Ramadan 2023, in the three educational stages at a different time between the north and the south due to the privacy of the region.

According to a statement by the ministry, the working hours will be suitable for the month of Ramadan, and start from eight thirty to three thirty in the afternoon for the northern states, while the study will be from seven in the morning until two in the afternoon for each of the states of Adrar, Laghouat, Biskra, Bechar, Tamanrasset. Ouargla, Illizi, Tindouf, El Oued, Ghardaia, Timimoun, Bordj Badji Mokhtar. And the sons of Jalal, Bani Abbas, In Saleh, In Quzam, Tikrit, Jannet, Al Mughair and Al Manea.

And according to the same source, the daily study period during the month of Ramadan is determined according to each educational stage, so that the study in the elementary stage is reduced for primary schools that operate in a one-time system, from the morning and evening periods by half an hour, provided that the students benefit between these two periods from an hour’s rest. And fifteen minutes.

As for the primary schools that operate on the two-shift system, the morning period, which lasts two hours and fifteen minutes, is reduced to one hour and forty-five minutes, while the evening period, which lasts two hours and fifteen minutes, is reduced to one hour and thirty minutes.

The statement indicates that the intermediate education stage and the general and technological secondary education stage reduce the duration of the one-hour educational session by fifteen minutes. The school day is organized in two periods that include 4 lessons each, and a one-hour break separates the morning and evening sessions.
