Several internal states of the country will witness rains that are sometimes thundery and accompanied by hail, starting today, Thursday, according to a special bulletin of the National Bureau of Meteorology.
The states concerned with this bulletin, which were classified in the level of orange alertness, are Tlemcen (south), Naama and El Bayadh, adds the same source.
The expected amounts of rain in these states will range between 20 and 40 mm during the validity period of the bulletin, which extends from today, Thursday, at 18:00 to tomorrow, Friday, at 12:00.
The statement added that the wilayas of Laghouat, Ghardaïa, Djelfa, Awlad Jalal, El Mughair, M’sila, Biskra, Batna and Khenchela are also concerned with this publication.
As for the amounts of rain expected in these states, it will range between 20 and 40 mm and may reach or exceed 50 mm locally during the validity period of the bulletin, which extends from 03 am to 15 pm tomorrow, Friday.
