The hasty pilgrims of the Holy House of God began stoning the Jamarat in Mina, with the start of the second day of Tashreeq today, Friday, and heading to the Grand Mosque in Mecca to perform the farewell circumambulation, which is the last ritual of Hajj, so that the hasty pilgrims leave Makkah Al-Mukarramah this morning.
The concerned authorities have allocated multiple lanes to distribute the crowds to the multiple floors of the Jamarat facility in the middle of the Mina shrine, to ensure the smooth movement of pilgrims.
At the same level, the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques announced the start of the second operational plan to receive, organize and move pilgrims to the Grand Mosque, to perform the farewell circumambulation with ease and ease, in complementarity and coordination with all service and security sectors participating in the Hajj.
Days of Tashreeq
The days of al-Tashreeq are the three days that come after the first day of Eid al-Adha, known as the Day of Sacrifice, and they are the eleventh, twelfth, and thirteenth days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, which the pilgrims spend in Mina, also known as the numbered days.
The first day of al-Tashreeq is known as the Day of the Qur’an, and it is called that because the pilgrim settles and stays there in Mina, stoning the Jamarat starting from the small Jamrah, then the Middle Jamrah, then the Great Jamrah.
The second day of the days of al-Tashreeq is known as the first day of departure, because the pilgrim is allowed to hasten and flee from Mina after stoning Jamrat al-Aqaba al-Wusta, and heading to the Grand Mosque in Mecca to perform the farewell circumambulation, which is the last ritual of Hajj, provided that the exit from Mina is before sunset.
The third day of the days of al-Tashreeq is known as the day of the second departure, in which those who are not in a hurry throw the three Jamarat before leaving Mina.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia welcomed more than 1.8 million Muslims this year, the first without restrictions since the Corona pandemic, and the most numerous in decades.
