Five people died and 119 others were injured as a result of traffic accidents across several states of the country during the last 24 hours, according to a statement by the civil protection services, this Monday.
The statement added that the civil protection units of the state of Al-Tarif intervened to transfer two dead people, as well as provide first aid to two other people with various injuries, as a result of sand sliding from a mountain slope in the municipality of Berihan.
The same interests also intervened in the wilaya of Medea, in order to provide first aid to two people who were suffering from shortness of breath after inhaling carbon monoxide gas emitted from the water heater inside their family home.
