Vogel renews Algeria’s support for Syria – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Commissioned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, this morning, Sunday, Saleh Vogel, Speaker of the National Assembly, at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Algeria, and in the presence of Mrs. Kawthar Kreiko, Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues, signed a book of condolences, following the devastating earthquake that struck the north of the country. Syria, at dawn on Monday, February 06, 2023.

And the text of condolence reads: “Following the great loss that befell the brotherly Syrian people, as a result of the violent earthquake that struck last Monday morning a number of cities in the Syrian Arab Republic, I present, on behalf of the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the Syrian Arab Republic Sisterhood, leadership, government and people, and to the families of the victims, with the most sincere expressions of condolences and sincere feelings of solidarity and sympathy, hoping that the Almighty God will shower the souls of the victims with His vast mercy, and crown the efforts of all workers in the field of ambulance and relief with success.

As we assure you that Algeria, the leadership, government and people, stands by the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic in these dire circumstances, we are fully confident in its ability to overcome this difficult ordeal.

We ask God Almighty to inspire all of you with beautiful patience and solace, and to protect your brotherly country from every calamity.”
