In this context, the Director of the National Higher Institute of Music, Abdelkader Bouazzara, praised the directive of “the President of the Republic to recruit specialized professors and experts who undertake training in various arts until obtaining the technical baccalaureate with the aim of establishing a culture of training in the artistic field,” as he said that “this must be done.” framework to the academic and professional level.”

The speaker saluted the parents who encouraged their children to enroll in the technical secondary school, expressing his satisfaction with the large number of applications and nominations received by this institution, whose graduates will be able to join various higher institutes and universities, including the institute he supervises and affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Arts.
For his part, the director of culture for the state of Setif and the framework for training in the plastic arts, El Hachemi Amer, believes that the directive of the President of the Republic “aims to open the way for Algerian youth to obtain a diploma of the Baccalaureate of Arts to enroll in higher schools, academies and universities, according to their desires,” and highlights the importance and great role of the artist in society and in advancing development.
Amer, the plastic artist and former director of several fine arts schools across the country, expressed his “hope to open other artistic high schools, especially in the south, and this is to attract his youth energies and also to open up to the African continent and its great youth energies as well, which can make Algeria a continental leader in this field.”
With regard to training, Amer considered it “the basis of everything and has a major role in advancing this sensitive sector,” adding that “the rational policy of the President of the Republic in the cultural field gives great importance to it,” calling also to focus on “training trainees and benefiting from foreign expertise, especially It is one of the countries with which Algeria has friendly relations.
Veteran theater director and composer Ahmed Khoudi said that the establishment of the Model High School for Arts in the capital “is an important step, a noble goal and a starting point for the advancement of culture” in Algeria.
The former professor at the Higher Institute for Performing Arts and Audiovisual Professions highlighted the importance of “introducing artistic subjects into the educational system, from the primary stage,” and working in this context to “sensitize society in general about the importance of art and culture.”
And the President of the Republic confirmed, Sunday, in the last cabinet meeting, that the goal of establishing the Model High School for Arts in the capital “is to fill the cultural and artistic void of the younger generation to strengthen our cultural and artistic foundations in order to face the challenges that stem from our cultural references, such as cinematic, theatrical and musical art.”
It is noteworthy that the National High School for Arts, which bears the name of the martyr artist Ali Maashi, was officially opened at the end of last September in the municipality of Al-Abyar, where its students are supervised by specialized professors from institutions under the tutelage of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, whether in theory or practice.
