The reception ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry, the Director of Religious Guidance and the Mosque Administration, and the Director of Religious Affairs and Endowments in the wilaya of Bordj Bou Arreridj.
It is noteworthy that the video of Sheikh Walid Mahsas, the imam of the Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque in the city of Bordj Bou Arreridj, received an interaction and response that conquered the whole world, so that the rate of views exceeded the barrier of 2 billion views on the “YouTube” platform and other social networking sites in a short time.
Many international media have responded to the incident, describing it as the most prominent humanitarian event this year.
In the same context, the imams of the Grand Mosque in Mecca interacted positively with the video, highlighting that the Islamic religion does not conflict with the values of humanity, as well as animal welfare.
