In addition, eight cooperation agreements were signed that affected nuclear medicine, agriculture, the environment, irrigation and water resources, justice, plants and forest wealth, in addition to culture and the arts, noting that Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed a desire to develop bilateral cooperation in the field of the automobile industry.

Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed his Algerian counterpart’s efforts to support mediation efforts in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
After recalling that Algeria is a member of the Arab League’s contact group on Ukraine, Putin explained, “I explained to President Tebboune the Russian vision, the initial causes of this conflict, and the circumstances related to it.”
In the same context, the Russian President stated that he will receive, on Saturday, the heads of delegations from the African continent, to discuss the initiative put forward by Algeria regarding the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
