In the wake of the developments of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, resulting from the provocative steps taken by the Israeli Minister of National Security by storming Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Arab troika in the United Nations in New York, with the membership of Algeria, and the presidency of Palestine, is making vigorous moves in order to mobilize International support for advocating the Palestinian cause and expanding international condemnations against the Israeli occupation.

During these emergency meetings, the permanent representative of Algeria, Ambassador Nazir Al-Arabawi, emphasized in his interventions that the condemned and rejected storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which was undertaken by the Israeli occupation minister, is added to the series of systematic violations committed by the occupation against the defenseless Palestinian people and their religious sanctities, and falls within a plan My expansion is extremely dangerous for Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem, and therefore it seems, as Al-Arabawi said, that the occupation has moved from the stage of managing the conflict to the stage of resolving the conflict.

Al-Arabawi also added that all these criminal acts committed against the brotherly Palestinian people are strongly condemned by Algeria, as a flagrant violation of the resolutions of international legitimacy and relevant UN resolutions, and a blatant challenge to the feelings of all Muslims and Christians around the world.

Nazir Al-Arabawi stressed that Algeria had previously called, through a letter sent by the President of the Republic, Mr. His responsibilities in order to put an end to these continuous criminal practices committed by the Israeli occupation and to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people and their sanctities, especially in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Holy City of Al-Quds Al-Sharif, which are exposed daily and continuously to systematic violations, in light of a terrible international silence, in order to change the existing legal situation and nature Demographics and the Islamic and Christian identity of the Holy City.

Nazir Al-Arabawi called for a joint Arab movement that is consistent with the magnitude of the challenges imposed in light of the current circumstances and rises to the level of the sacrifices of the brotherly Palestinian people.

The ambassador also stressed that Algeria remains faithful to its principles regarding the right of peoples to self-determination and is firm in its stances in support of the brotherly Palestinian people in order to restore their legitimate rights, foremost of which is their right to establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

Algeria also remains fully convinced that a just and comprehensive peace in the region, as a strategic option, will only come through ending the Israeli occupation and implementing the relevant international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002.
