Arkab discusses the reality of the oil market within “OPEC” – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Today, Saturday, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, participated in the work of the 185th meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which was held via videoconference technology.

A statement by the Ministry of Energy and Mines stated that the ministers of the member states of “OPEC” discussed in today’s meeting issues related to the organization’s management and functioning, as well as the current situation of the oil market and prospects for its development, in the short and long term.

And the Minister of Energy and Mines will participate, tomorrow via videoconference technology, in the work of the 46th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee and the 34th ministerial meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-members of the Organization, where the ministers responsible for oil in 23 countries will discuss the Declaration of Cooperation ( OPEC+) Recent developments observed in the international oil market and prospects for its development in the short term.
