Economist: Algeria will know economic wealth in the coming period – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The economist, Dr. Houari Tigresi, relied that the coming stages will witness an economic revolution in Algeria by exploiting the existing national capabilities and stimulating foreign investments, highlighting that all indicators suggest that 2023 will be a year of real development.

According to the Algerian Radio, Houari Tigresi revealed, during his appearance this Wednesday as a guest on the “Morning Guest” program of the first radio channel, that Algeria pays great attention to investment through the enactment of a number of laws that would overcome the various difficulties faced by investors, whether they are Algerians or foreigners, and support local production.

The guest of the morning appreciated the social decisions taken by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, especially those related to improving and preserving the purchasing power of the citizen and canceling many fees, which was included in the Finance Law 2023, indicating the need to carry out deep reforms such as lowering the level of taxes, comprehensive tax reform and reviewing the system. Tigressi believes that the amount of 98 billion dinars related to the 2023 budget is a large amount that will reflect positively on the Algerian citizen, especially since only 10 billion of it is related to unexpected expenses related to the evidentiary point, the unemployment grant and the retirement grant.

The economist stressed the need to provide a digital system to reduce unemployment and bureaucracy in management and mediation, noting that these digital platforms provide an opportunity for direct communication between citizens and various institutions to create more transparency in the coming stages.

Houari Tigresi concluded his speech by saying, “Algeria is the key to Africa,” as its location qualifies it to be a link between Africa and the countries of the world through the proximity of distances, expressing his optimism that 2023 will be a year of real development, especially since Algeria has great potentials that must be best exploited.
