The general manager of the “Sonatrach” complex, Taoufik Hakkar, confirmed that there will be a great demand for gas in the domestic and foreign markets in the coming years, so Algeria is working to meet this demand for natural gas.
Today, Friday, Tawfiq Hakkar said in an interview with the Russian “RT” agency that the Russian company “Gazprom” is a reliable partner for “Sonatrach” and we are working to develop some of the patches in Algeria. In the context, Hokkar revealed that Sonatrach, working with Gazprom, was able to sign two important discoveries in the honey field, about 140 km southeast of Hassi Messaoud, and to develop a plan to develop the field together.
Taoufik Hakkar indicated that there are other Russian companies in Algeria working in the service sector and building factories, which is important for Algeria.
