The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received, Thursday, at the headquarters of his ministerial department, Gaurav Ahluwalia, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Algeria.
The talks between the two parties focused on developing and strengthening bilateral cooperation relations in the field of energy and mines, which were described as excellent.
The two parties highlighted the investment opportunities and exchange of experiences between the two countries in the field of hydrocarbons, electricity and mines, as well as the transfer of technology and knowledge.
On this occasion, the Indian ambassador handed over an invitation letter addressed to him by the Indian Minister of Petroleum, Natural Gas, Housing and Urban Affairs, to participate in a virtual session scheduled for January 13, 2023, under the title “Energy Security and Development: A Roadmap to Prosperity”, within the framework of the “Voice of the South” summit organized by The Indian government, in addition to an invitation to participate in the activities of the “Indian Energy Week” in February 2023.
