The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has set the date of January 2, 2023 as the date for the start of training in the English language through a digital platform for the benefit of university professors.
In its instruction, the Ministry stated, “Within the framework of enhancing the training of higher education teachers in the English language and complementing the measures that have been taken at the level of university institutions, including the centers of intensive language education, as well as the English language departments, the National Committee for Distance Education has begun to launch A digital platform for teaching the English language remotely as a pedagogical educational support for the benefit of higher education teachers, so that the training will start from the 2nd of next January.
The platform aims to train 80 percent of professors in the field of science and technology, and 100 percent of professors in the field of humanities, social sciences, and medical sciences who study horizontal units.
