Pictures.. Boghali receives the Tunisian ambassador to Algeria – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Ibrahim Bougali, Speaker of the National People’s Assembly, received today, Monday, at the headquarters of the Assembly, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Algeria, Ramadan Al-Fayed, who paid him a courtesy visit. .

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Council mentioned the depth of the historical relations that unite the two peoples and the two countries, which he described as relations of brotherhood, friendship and love, and considered the events of Sakiet Sidi Youssef the best evidence of the strength of cohesion between the two brotherly peoples.

In the same context, the President expressed his satisfaction with the continuation of these relations in developing and taking root at all levels, officially and popularly, and expressed his hope to promote joint work in a way that achieves the aspiration of the two countries towards more cooperation within the framework of a fruitful and distinguished partnership, especially in the economic field, to serve common interests.

In terms of parliamentary work, Mr. Boghali congratulated the Tunisian people on the occasion of the election of the new parliament and expressed his willingness to support joint work between the two legislative institutions and to provide all possibilities to strengthen and enhance cooperation relations, especially with regard to exchanging views and coordinating positions on issues of common interest regionally, regionally and internationally.

By the way, the President of the Council emphasized giving priority to the official inauguration of the Algerian-Tunisian Friendship Group and giving it all means to devote dialogue and consultation with its Tunisian counterpart.

For his part, HE the Ambassador praised the strong relations between the two countries, which are characterized by constant coordination and consultation on issues of common interest, and expressed the Tunisian authorities’ keenness to establish communication relations with the Algerian legislative institution.

In the same context, Mr. Ramadan Al-Fayed affirmed the readiness of the Speaker of the Assembly of the Representatives of the Tunisian People to give a special dynamic to these relations, whether through the exchange of visits at the highest level or through the two friendship groups, noting that the Tunisian-Algerian Friendship Group will be installed as soon as possible.
