The launch of the Algerian Forum for Literary and Artistic Creativity – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Algeria will host the first edition of the Algerian Forum for Literary and Artistic Creativity from 17 to 25 June, organized by the Algerian Federation of Culture and Arts and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Arts.

A large group of poets and writers from many Arab countries are participating in this cultural event in its first edition, which came under the slogan “We have room for every honor,” according to a statement by the federation. The Algerian Federation of Culture and Arts, through the Algerian Forum for Literary and Artistic Creativity, has drawn up a diverse program between literature and tourism. Among the participants were the Mauritanian poet Omar Albo, and from Egypt, Amina Abdullah Hassan, Jamal Fathi Muhammad Ahmed and Sameh Al-Sayed Abu Mahjoub. From Tunisia, Khaled Al-Aqbi, from Libya, Hood Abdullah Al-Amani, and from Eritrea, journalist and writer Mahmoud Abu Bakr, in addition to a large number of poets. Algerians.

The guests participating in this event will learn about the Algerian heritage, through visits to the city of Sidi Bel Abbes on the sidelines of the great marathon that will be organized by the state and witness the participation of a large number of artists and performers, and a two-day visit to the city of Ghardaia, interspersed with literary meetings. During the first edition of the Algerian Forum for Literary and Artistic Creativity, the “Prince Abdelkader” poetry prize will be distributed in a large celebration for the founder of the Algerian state, who was a great leader and poet.
