The interests of the Ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion have drawn up a maintenance program on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr 2023 to ensure regular supply of citizens with basic materials and services of wide consumption.
And the same interests harnessed 2,407 monitoring agents across the entire national territory, to follow up on the extent of the implementation of the maintenance program, for the implementation of which 50,817 merchants were harnessed,” according to what was stated by the counselor in charge of information at the Ministry, Amin Amara.
And according to the same speaker, the trade interests reported 6,972 merchants active in the bakery sector, 27,987 in the general foodstuffs, vegetables and fruits sector, and 15,787 merchants in the various activities sector, in addition to 463 production units, 131 dairy products, 290 mills, and 40 production units for mineral water.
This measure comes in implementation of the provisions of Law 06-13 amending and supplementing Law 08-04 related to the conditions for conducting commercial activities, according to the same official.
